With us, you don’t get into an unbalanced situation
New inclination switch from the Chemnitz-based electronics company GEMAC is freely configurable, offers maximum freedom of installation and meets the highest immunity requirements. It will be presented for the first time at the Agritechnica trade fair (Hall 15, Stand G46), which will be held in Hanover from 8 to 14 November 2015.
When it comes to the reliability of agricultural machines, such as tractors or harvesters, modern sensor solutions play a decisive role. Their effective use cannot only significantly increase the productivity of various agricultural processes, but is also of great importance for safety considerations. For example, inclination switches are used to monitor slope movements which, if a certain position angle is exceeded, provoke an emergency shutdown of the machine concerned and thus prevent it from tipping over.
At Agritechnica 2015, GEMAC - Gesellschaft für Mikroelektronikanwendung Chemnitz mbH will be presenting an innovative inclination switch for one- or two-dimensional monitoring of inclinations in the range of 0… 360° can be used. The free configurability of the switch is unique. The switching angles can be set individually by the user via the programming adapter. The switching thresholds can be programmed on any axis or on different axes. Additional functions such as logic links, vibration filters and hysteresis can be configured by the user as required via the PC software.
The new GEMAC inclination switch has a small, robust, easy-to-install ABS housing, which is optimally tailored to the tough requirements of agricultural machinery thanks to its IP67 certification. As an option, the tilt switch is also available with a plastic plug connector. Due to the fact that the inclination switch can be installed in the application in any orientation, any additional installation costs can be avoided.
The innovation will be presented for the first time at Agritechnica 2015 in Hanover. Samples can be requested from the 1st quarter of 2016.
