Description
The GEMAC Motus® series XC is a 2-axis tilt sensor and a 6-axis inertial measuring unit consisting of an acceleration and gyro sensor. It allows the measurement of acceleration, rotation rate, and tilt in one device. It is characterized by high accuracy, which is achieved by a factory calibration.
The compact and robust design and its nickel-plated zinc die-cast housing make the sensor a suitable angle measuring device in harsh environments for a wide range of automotive and industrial engineering applications. Accelerations occurring, e.g., during braking or cornering, are reliably filtered by the integrated fusion filter. Therefore, the sensor is ideally suited for static measuring tasks and precise measurements in motion.
All parameters can be easily set via the digital interface. GEMAC provides parameterization software for this purpose.
