Description
The GEMAC Motus® series XB is a 2-axis inclination sensor and a 6-axis inertial measuring unit consisting of an acceleration and gyro sensor. It allows the measurement of acceleration, rotation rate, and tilt in one device. It is characterized by high accuracy, which is achieved by a factory calibration.
The compact and robust design and its nickel-plated zinc die-cast housing make the sensor a suitable angle measuring device in harsh environments for a wide range of automotive and industrial engineering applications. Accelerations occurring, e.g., during braking or cornering, are reliably filtered by the integrated fusion filter. Therefore, the sensor is not only ideally suited for static measuring tasks but also precise measurements in motion.
All parameters can be easily set via the digital interface. GEMAC provides parameterization software for this purpose.
